Dr. Nance WunzMeridian, Idaho:

Intermountain Pet Hospital welcomes Dr. Nancy Wunz to our growing family of veterinarians and staff.  Dr. Wunz is thrilled to offer veterinary pet care to all furry family members of the treasure valley.

Dr. Wunz, a transplant to Idaho, is a Pennsylvania native.  After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, she attended The Ohio State University completing her D.V.M. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) in 2000.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Nancy Wunz did a small animal internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey.  For the next three years, she practiced small animal medicine in Colorado, then returned to Pennsylvania until finally returning west in 2018 to practice progressive quality medicine with the Intermountain Pet Hospital team.

Dr. Nancy Wunz is most interested in preventative, internal and exotic (especially guinea pigs and rabbits) animal medicine because of their unique biological make up.  She brought her husband, Greg (a customer database designer), two kiddos (a son and a daughter) and Tarvos, a silly rescued cat. They all are excited to mingle with the friendly people around the Treasure Valley. The Wunz family are also planning many hikes, biking excursions, skiing, and rafting the awesome whitewater rapids of the Idaho rivers.
