Find me on:

A Pet Vaccination Clinic probably doesn't sound like the most fun place to visit, but it is one of the most necessary places to visit. Why? Because it is YOUR job to protect your pet from diseases. Vaccines are a tool to help you do just that.

There are two huge things that your Pet Vaccination Clinic can help you accomplish.

  1. Prevent Disease: Vaccines prevent diseases like distemper, rabies, and hepatitis. Not only should you be proactive about this for the sake of your canine, but many of these unfortunate diseases are transferable to humans. Vaccination is an important step in protecting your entire household against diseases.
  2. The Professionals can Determine the Correct Frequency of Vaccinations: Age, breed, allergies, lifestyle, travel, and health are all factors in determining the frequency of your dog's vaccinations. The professionals at our Pet Vaccination Clinic would be more than happy to provide you with the research and guidance to decide when vaccines should happen.

For example, there are standard vaccines for puppies. Your pet's environment also plays a role. Does your dog spend a lot of time in a kennel or with other dogs at shows, grooming salons or pet boarding?

These are the considerations you should discuss with your vet at the Pet Vaccination Clinic:

  1. Has your pet received the CORE vaccines?
  2. What NON-CORE vaccines should your dog receive? (Depending on your dog's environment, he may get exposed to non-core diseases like Lyme disease, kennel cough, and leptospirosis).

We recommend a yearly check-up with your veterinarian. A titer test (measures a number of antibodies in your dog's body) can be performed to determine the best course of action for your dog's well-being and overall happiness.

We're open Monday-Saturday and would love to set up a time to visit with you! Contact us today.
