Dr. Brianna Boersma was born and raised in San Diego. She grew up on a small farm and participated in 4H, and volunteered her free time at an animal clinic in town. After high school, Dr. Boersma attended Cal Poly Pomona, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. While in college, she worked at Arabian horse stables. After getting her undergraduate degree, Dr. Boersma went on to Western University of Health Sciences, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
So they could be closer to family, Dr. Boersma, her husband Jeff, and their goofy hound dog Whiskey moved to Nampa. Jeff is an ICU nurse who is also working in the area.
Dr. Boersma and her family are excited to be able to enjoy their many outdoor interests like kayaking, hiking, fishing, and camping.
She is excited to work in a general practice where she can enjoy connections with patients and their families while providing preventative medicine.
Dr. Boersma has a special interest in emergency medicine and surgery.
